Lets see how I can make that work with this space. I found <a href="https://www.11ty.dev/">11ty</a> as a static site generator and it seems to work quite well. I then found <a href="https://github.com/11ty/eleventy-base-blog">this</a> template, which is the one I'm using right now and it seems to work quite well. Especially to just get started as quickly as possible.</p> <p>Right now I'm watching <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fv9_BdQidT8">this</a> youtube video on the side. I have to say I really like the creator, especially his videos on fashism are really good.</p> <p>But back to the blog. What motivated me to do this today is that Philipp sent me a <a href="https://ppage.pilip.org/posts/troubleinthemessagecenter/">post he made</a> on his own blog so I really had to create one for myself.</p> <p>Finally I now declare a list of things that need to be taken care of on this blog:</p> <ul> <li>I need to find a way to have multilanguage support, but I think the way I would like to have it implemented won't exist</li> <li>I need to find a way to host images and videos. If I use this blog seriously there is no way I can check all images into git.</li> <li>I realized it would be cool to have a common tagging system across my many (future) websites. In the sense that if you create a tag on this blog here then the tag is automatically propagated to other websites and can then also be found on <a href="https://articles.tomellm.eu">articles.tomellm.eu</a> for example.</li> </ul> <p>Oh and then on a last note, I'm looking for a point and shoot that can take good pictures, if you have any ideas or know a good camera please tell me.</p> <p>And lastly, I wish you good luck reading all of this bullshit. :kiss:</p>
